Please enjoy the interview!:
Let’s get to know you!

Who are you and what meal would you gladly eat forever?
Anthony: I am a self-published author expanding my network and working hard toward my goal of landing a book deal and eventually turn my stories into film or series. I want nothing more than to make writing my full career. It is my passion. As for my meal, that is a tough one. I love food far too much. Though I can confidently say it would be some type of pasta.
If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
Anthony: I would instruct myself on the finer points of editing and plot structure building so I could hit the ground running at a younger age. I am still learning so much today, so I’m not really in the position to teach anyone. Maybe in a few more years when I’ve reached somewhat of a level of success (fingers crossed).
What would you say is the best thing about you?
Anthony: Another tough question. I am a self-defeatist to my core and my strongest critic. I guess the best thing about me is my endurance and tenacity. I’ve been knocked down so many times in my life, yet I continue to get back up and keep fighting and forging ahead in the pursuit of my dreams.
Favorite movie and why?
Anthony: As with food, books, music, and televisions series, there are far too many movies I love too many to ever pick just one. I love all genres both old and new. One movie that means a great deal to me is ROCKY. In a way, it saved my life. Whenever I feel down and out, defeated and backed into a corner, that is the movie I watch for inspiration.
Let’s get to know your book?

Tell us a little about your book and inspiration for it?
Anthony: For all my books, I am inspired by a love of storytelling, and desire to entertain. With Descent into the Hallway of Madness, movies such as Seven and Silence of the Lambs inspired me. With A Haunting For Christmas it was my love for the timeless classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. For Sicilian Roulette it was the intrigue of stories both fictional and non-fiction of the mafia and all things organized crime. With all my stories, I enjoy taking popular ideas and providing my own unique and original spin on the plot.
What message would you like readers to get from your book?
Anthony: I write my stories with the sole purpose to entertain. I simply want to take people’s minds off of life, even if only for a short while. I am not political, just want to create work others will enjoy. I have a great deal of story starts that I’m working on that span over many genres for a wide audience.
Which character was the easiest to write? Who was the most challenging?
Anthony: Alvario Di Sano, the main character of my novel Sicilian Roulette, was both the easiest as well as the most difficult. He was based on myself for his basic character traits and persona. While putting him through the perils he faces throughout the storyline, it was difficult to put myself in the character’s shoes to further the plot.
